Have you ever received phone calls from telemarketers trying to sell you something? If so, what was the product or service that was being advertised?
HELPFUL TIP: Telemarketing is big business, but it can be annoying to those who receive such calls. If you don’t want people to call you, tell them to put you on their do-not call list.

HELPFUL TIP: Going to a camp can be a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, and keep physically active. Check with local organizations to see what is available in your area.

HELPFUL TIP: If you want to return an item to a store, be sure to have your receipt. Depending on the store’s return policy, you might be refunded for the purchase price, or you might receive store credit.

Businesses and homes often fall victim to crime, particularly robbery and burglary, and having a method of protecting your life and property is very important. So, what are some common methods that businesses use to protect their property? How about homeowners or even yourself if you are living in an apartment or dormitory at school? In this conversation, how was the man caught?
HELPFUL TIP: While traveling, it is often a good idea not to “look” like a tourist so thieves won’t single you out. Carrying big, bulking cameras and large amounts of cash on you could possibly lead to problems.

How are school grades determined at different levels of education in your country (e.g., test, quizzes, reports, participation, etc.)? How are grades listed on report cards? In the USA, letters are often used to indicate performance (A, A-, B+, etc.).
HELPFUL TIP: Many students in the US take the SAT and/or the ACT tests as a part of gaining entrance to colleges and universities. Try taking such tests several times so you get a feel for how they are written if the school are considering require such tests.
